On Formlessness
- It can be liberating to know that you are not just a body and mind, when you realise you are formless but do you stop there?
If the 'person" sat next to you realises this as well, is their formlessness the same as yours? Can we split or separate formlessness in some way or is there simply formlessness? |
- If we look within what do we know to be true about ourselves. We may have naturally assumed we are simply our bodies and minds.
How can we just be our bodies if there's an awareness of the body?
How can we just be our minds if there is an awareness of thoughts.
We know when the mind is busy and we know when the mind is quiet.
What is it that know this ?
We even know our personalities. We know what make us laugh and what makes us cry.
What is it that know this?
Can we ask this question and see what we realise about ourselves. We may notice many thoughts that arise after we ask this question but can we keep asking the question until we receive a knowing about what is true about ourselves.
