Awakening Together 
"The Movement of Now" with Ian McArthur
From the 20th December 2020 on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month at 7:30pm (UK Time) / 2:30pm (ET), Ian will be hosting Qigong classes on Awakening Together.  
The next class on Awakening Together is on Sunday 3rd January 2021.
In this program we will learn the traditional Mind, Body and Spirit practice of Qigong (Chi Kung). 
​This practice has been followed for thousands of years in order to promote balance and wellbeing as well as a means to encourage Spiritual Awakening. Ian's Meditative approach to Qigong allows us to experience the many benefits of Qigong. 
Qi meaning life energy, refers to the energy circulating through the body and Gong means cultivation or work. The two words are combined to describe a practice to cultivate and balance life energy. 
By following movements (forms) and a simple breathing technique, we encourage more Qi to flow which in turn allows us to feel more peaceful and at One with ourselves. ​​

Awakening Together
​Awakening Together is a universal assembly of peers dedicated to recognizing and embracing universal wisdom regardless of the form in which it appears. There are also dedicated to recognizing the ways we deny universal wisdom by adopting personal beliefs and biases. They recognize these limitations so they can free ourselves from them and open to the continuous flow of universal wisdom.
Awakening together are an assembly of equals joined in common purpose: Awakening to the one True Self. Within an appearance of many faiths, many cultures and many symbols, they seek to discern one truth and to rest in its embrace.

"I have been doing Ian's Seated Qi Qong classes now for a few weeks and really enjoying it.  I have done standing Qi Qong  in the past but had to stop due to developing a painful medical condition of the feet which makes me unable to stand.  I discovered Ian's website and saw he gave Qi Qong classes but on contacting him he said he was interested in doing a seated class.  I can thoroughly recommend this class, especially for people like myself who cannot partake in the usual classes offered due to medical conditions etc.  Ian is a good teacher, explaining the movements, giving us techniques that we can easily practice at home on a daily basis, going over things and adding new movements each class, which is great.  As well as being excellent for my wellbeing, it also helps me cope with daily pain, and allows me to get back into a class.  I am also doing Ian's meditation class and am finding that very beneficial too."
